Super Bowl 2012 Final Score: New York Giants Are Super Bowl Champs With 21-17 Win

After a hard fought and immensely entertaining game, the New York Giants are your Super Bowl Champions for 2012.

The first quarter was all Giants, with a safety from Tom Brady on his first pass play of the game and a Victor Cruz touchdown coming from Eli Manning as the time ticked away. The second quarter saw far more action on the Patriots side of things, as they got a field goal and some perfect play by Tom Brady leading to a late TD and a 10-9 lead going into halftime.

The third quarter featured a quick Aaron Hernandez touchdown to put it at 17-9 for the Patriots, but two straight field goals for Lawrence Tynes made it close once again going into the fourth.

The Giants scored a very late TD thanks to Ahmad Bradshaw with less than a minute remaining in the match, giving Brady a one minute drill to try and bring his Patriots back. Unfortunately, two straight drops and a Justin Tuck sack destroyed the Pats final chances.

This is the Giants fourth Super Bowl victory, and the Patriots fourth Super Bowl loss in their seventh try.
