NFL Mock Draft 2012: Browns Still Looking At Quarterback At No. 4

The latest edition of SB Nation's NFL Mock Draft is out, and Ryan Van Bibber has the Browns drafting a quarterback with the No. 4 pick. Mike Holmgren told a Seattle radio station this week that the Browns have looked at 10 or 12 quarterbacks this offseason, either in free agency or through draft scouting. But Holmgren also stated that he's not "down on Colt McCoy." Well, Van Bibber doesn't buy it and has the Browns drafting Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who has rocketed up the draft board with Robert Griffin III now unavailable. Van Bibber takes a shot at Holmgren's approach:

Invading Russia in the winter is just another bad decision compared to what the Browns have done this month. Mike Holmgren's sniveling over his team's losing out on the trade with the Rams for the second pick may signal some awareness of the situation in Cleveland -- desperation and just how perilously close he is to living out his life in relative obscurity as just another old fat guy draped in Tommy Bahama, puttering around a Florida golf course. Ryan Tannehill has plenty of potential, and the Browns cannot afford to wait and take a chance on whatever falls to them with the 22nd pick.

There's plenty to question, and drafting Tannehill this high seemed unthinkable just a month ago. Regardless, Holmgren also said this week that he will discourage GM Tom Heckert from trading down and out of the No. 4 spot. With a little over a month to go, there's still plenty of time for movement.
