The workout could be of extra significance to the Cleveland Browns, who are projected by some to take Bama running back Trent Richardson with the fourth overall pick.
It's also significant for Richardson, who didn't participate at the NFL Combine because of a minor knee surgery.
As a junior last season, Richardson had 283 carries for 1,679 yards, good for a 5.9 yards per carry average. He was fifth in the nation in rushing yards and had an incredible 21 touchdowns. He had 20 carries for 96 yards in the national title game against LSU and its top-rated defense.
If the Browns don't take Richardson, then they are likely to take Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon.
