2012 NFL Draft: Cleveland Browns Team Needs

Sports Illustrated has released a list of the three biggest needs for every team in the AFC, and the Cleveland Browns list is pretty much what you would expect out of a team that has weaknesses all over the offense -- which is to say, three different offensive positions.

Running Back is the top position on their list with Peyton Hillis leaving the squad. With the top draft guess for the Browns right now probably being Alabama RB Trent Richardson, it fits right into that narrative.

Wide Receiver and Quarterback are the other two spots on the list, with WR being one of the most depth starved parts of the organization. Quarterback isn't an incredibly pressing need with Colt McCoy showing some - not much, but some - promise since being drafted out of Texas.

The offensive line does not feature and of course, the Browns have defensive needs as well as the article points out, but an offense led by Colt McCoy and Montario Hardesty is not going to be winning any Super Bowls any time soon and they need to make quick fixes on that as fast as they can. Trent Richardson, Justin Blackmon and Ryan Tannehill provide top flight answers to all three problem areas that could potentially be drafted with that fourth overall selection that the Browns have.
