2012 NFL Mock Draft: Browns Select WR's Justin Blackmon And Kendall Wright In The First Round

The first round of SB Nation's NFL bloggers 2012 NFL Mock Draft is over and Dawgs By Nature selected Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon with the fourth overall pick and Baylor wide receiver Kendall Wright with the 22nd pick. Via Dawgs By Nature:

The Browns are thin enough at receiver where Blackmon would start immediately, probably alongside last year's second-round pick, Greg Little.

If Wright is still available at their second selection, NFL Draft expert Todd McShay believes the Browns will take him. The Browns need weapons on offense and had the worst receiving corps in the league last year by popular opinion. Blackmon and Wright would be an explosive tandem who would give McCoy some comfortable targets next season.

The concept of drafting both Blackmon and Wright is one that says, "let's just start over at receiver already." For several years now, the Browns' group of wide receivers has been regarded as one of the worst in football. If the Browns stick with Colt McCoy at quarterback, the only chance he has at growing is if the receivers around him do a better job at getting open.
