The NFL Draft's top three picks are pretty much set in the minds of a lot of people, with the Indianapolis Colts taking Andrew Luck and Washington Redskins taking Robert Griffin III before the Minnesota Vikings pick up USC offensive tackle Matt Kalil. As Adam Schefter tweeted earlier on Wednesday though, Kalil to the Vikings might not be as much of a lock as people expect.
In that regard, you can't overlook the fact that the Cleveland Browns have now planned a workout with Kalil on Wednesday, as reported by The Plain Dealer.
Kalil is widely considered the third best prospect in the draft, and the best prospect that isn't a quarterback. The Browns offense is the usual target in the various mock drafts out there so the most solid LT prospect in the draft would certainly not be out of the ordinary if the Vikings decide to pass on him.
Even better, Kalil being at pick four could provide plenty of trade bait if the Browns are looking to move down.
