With questions in the air about what the Cleveland Browns will be doing with the fourth overall selection, Chad Reuter of NFL.com has projected what he expects the team is going to do in the 2012 draft with his most recent mock:
1 (4) Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama
1 (22) Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor
2 (37) Brandon Weeden, QB, Oklahoma State
3 (67) Mitchell Schwartz, OT, California
4 (100) Ron Brooks, CB, LSU
4 (118) Frank Alexander, DE, Oklahoma
5 (139) Josh Kaddu, OLB, Oregon
5 (160) Trenton Robinson, FS, Michigan State
6 (204) Asa Jackson, CB, Cal Poly
6 (205) Dwight Jones, WR, North Carolina
7 (211) Hebron Fangupo, DT, BYU
7 (245) Markus Zusevics, OT, Iowa
7 (247) Brian Stahovich, P, San Diego State
With speculation swirling around the prospects of the team selecting Texas A & M quarterback, Ryan Tannehill as the "quarterback of the future," Reuter has the team picking Alabama running back, Trent Richardson with their first pick at number four overall.
With the team's third selection at 37, he projects that, that is where the Browns wil select their quarterback, when he has them taking Brandon Weeden of Oklahoma State.
