When the Cleveland Browns swung a trade with the Minnesota Vikings to swap first round picks (and give the Vikings three of their later picks), everyone assumed it was to assure themselves of landing running back Trent Richardson.
Richardson might have had a clue, but he did not know until the Commissioner read his name that he would be drafted third overall by the Browns, and he called it 'bigger than winning the national championship' at Alabama.
Richardson added that he wants to make his new teammate Colt McCoy better and he has a lot to prove. Browns legend Jim Brown called Richardson 'ordinary' recently and Richardson hopes to make him eat his words.
