The Cleveland Browns added two more players on the second day of the draft, opting to add depth up front on both sides of the ball. Much to the chagrin of Browns fans, Tom Heckert passed on a number of highly-rated receivers but did solidify the right tackle position when he selected Cal's Mitchell Schwartz at pick No. 37. John Hughes, who will provide depth on the defensive line, was added late in the third round after a trading down, but still no receivers were added. So, are their any good pass catchers still available?
Mocking the Draft's Dan Kadar lists their best players available, and there was a bit of a run on wide receivers in the second day. As you would expect, there are some less-appealing options on the outside heading into Saturday. Dwight Jones of North Carolina, Marvin McNutt of Iowa, and Joe Adams of Arkansas are the top three receivers left on Kadar's board.
There are still a number of good prospects along both lines, and at linebacker. But one name Browns fans are certainly familiar with could be a target for Heckert in the defensive backfield on Day 3. Virginia's Chase Minnifield, son of Frank, is definitely considered a draft-worthy cornerback, and he is one of five remaining corners in Kadar's Top 100 overall.
