Browns Draft Grades: Round 2 Wasn't Pretty According To SB Nation

After a controversial Day 1 which saw the Cleveland Browns trade away three draft picks in order to move up one spot to draft Trent Richardson at three and select 28-year old quarterback Brandon Weeden at No. 22, the Browns continued their unique ways on Day 2.

Drafting offensive tackle Mitchell Schwartz with the 37th overall pick and defensive tackle John Hughes with the 87th overall pick, SB Nation's Jerry Mallory was none too pleased with what Cleveland did on Day 2. With other players still on the board that were rated higher than both Schwartz and Hughes, Mallory's grade reflected his displeasure.

"I'll give them a 'D+' just because I'm being nice."

Mallory would have liked to have seen the Browns use the No. 37 pick to select troubled cornerback Janorris Jenkins who was selected by the St. Louis Rams two picks later at 39. Jenkins was busted for Marijuana twice and was kicked off the University of Florida's football team back in 2011. Be that as it may, Mallory would have liked to have seen the Browns reunite Jenkins with former Florida partner, Joe Haden.
