Friday marks the start of rookie minicamps for the Cleveland Browns, and there is plenty of intrigue around with so many rookies playing in glamor positions on the squad. Trent Richardson and Brandon Weeden will of course be the two big names, but there's plenty of competition around with guys like WR Josh Cooper as well filling the rookie rosters.
Weeden won't be starting rookie camp as the only quarterback. Browns coach Pat Shurmer, during a conference call with the media on Thursday, put another name into the hat -- Darron Thomas, an undrafted free agent QB who used to throw for the Oregon Ducks.
The other big news is that Trent Richardson, the team's first pick in the draft, will be participating in full despite a minor arthroscopic knee surgery that he underwent before the draft.
