NFL Power Rankings: SB Nation Has Browns At The Very Bottom

SB Nation's latest power rankings has the Cleveland Browns all the way at the very bottom of the list, citing a strong draft that may not come together immediately. For more on the Cleveland Browns, go to Dawgs By Nature.

The 2012 NFL Draft has wrapped up, which might mean we all start paying attention to other things and other sports like the NBA Playoffs or the NHL Playoffs - or it means we can just re-hash the draft and get started with the early mock drafts. Another thing that can be done, of course, is project and take a look at those power rankings.

SB Nation's Joel Thorman got a head start with his first post-draft power rankings, and for the Cleveland Browns, it's not great news ... he's got them all the way at the very bottom (which might be related to multiple early 2013 mock drafts having them take Matt Barkley with the first overall pick), here's what he had to say:

32. Cleveland Browns (4-12, LW: 30): Sorry, Cleveland. I think you're on the right track. But Brandon Weeden as a rookie may not be better than Colt McCoy, and Trent Richardson will play 25 percent of his games against arguably the two best run defenses in the NFL in Pittsburgh and Baltimore. 2013 is the year to look forward to.

Even if you don't agree that the Browns should be at the very bottom, there's definitely some truth to his words when he discusses 2013 (presumably meaning Aug. and Sept. in 2013 as opposed to this coming season). The Browns definitely picked up some solid pieces, but it's hard to imagine those pieces coming together so quickly.
