Colt McCoy epitomizes the saying: "You can take a boy out the country but you can't take the country out the boy."
Even in the midst of a starting quarterback battle for what was solely McCoy's job the past two seasons, the Texas kid is still enjoying his offseason (as he should), still a down-home country boy, and apparently as he sings with country music star Brad Paisley, he's "still a guy."
I can't really make much of what I see in the video, but from what I hear, you definitely need more than the heavy accent to pull off the country music bit.
Love how Paisley says, "With a name like Colt McCoy, he has to be accountable, right?" It was interesting because McCoy obviously owned it on stage, just having fun and everything.
But when it comes to work and keeping the starting job he's battling for (if the Browns don't trade him first), the easy-going former Texas Longhorns standout is going to have to do better on the stage where his career totals on two NFL seasons show 20 touchdowns and 20 interceptions.
