The Philadelphia Eagles decided to cut their ties with president Joe Banner on Thursday, which initially was of little consequence to the Cleveland Browns. But a tweet by Philadelphia radio personality Howard Eskin suggests that Banner's next position might be part-owner of the Browns.

The tweet was followed by an interview with Cleveland's 92.3 The Fan, when Eskin clarified his comments:
"I don’t know how serious," Eskin said. "Obviously there’s a thought there because if NFL people are getting a feel for this then there is a thought there that the Browns could possibly be sold.
"For the right price anything could be sold."
At this stage, the Browns have yet to comment on the manner.
