Cleveland Browns tight end Evan Moore was one of the leading receivers at the position for the team last season, but he's still battling for a roster spot these days in his fourth year with the league.
The 27-year-old is currently fourth on the team's depth chart, but he's positive about the direction of his career regardless, as Mary Kay Cabot of The Plain Dealer writes.
The Browns gave Moore a two-year extension before the season, but he's still fallen behind Ben Watson, Jordan Cameron and Alex Smith on the team's current depth chart. The first roster cut of the year, down to 75 players, comes on Monday, and the final trim to 53 players is on Aug. 31.
Moore has been dealing with a hamstring issue, but he continues to work towards making the roster. In each of the past two seasons, the tight end has had over 320 yards receiving, but he's still trying to make an impression on Cleveland's coaching staff.
