Cleveland Browns Final Roster: The Latest Speculation

The Cleveland Browns have until 9 p.m. Friday to finish shaping the initial 2012 roster, cutting 75 players down to 53 for regular season play. Chris Pokorny posted his third go-round at predicting the final cuts over at Dawgs By Nature Tuesday.

Changes to Pokorny's projected roster in recent days include the Browns holding onto a fourth running back, Chris Ogbonnaya, since Trent Richardson has had minor knee surgery, Montario Hardesty has been sore, and Brandon Jacobs did not play in 2011 whatsoever.

Pokorny also believes that tight end Alex Smith will be kept on the roster, leaving the Browns with four running backs and four tight ends. Cleveland currently only carries five linebackers and might look to add depth there, at least until Scott Fujita's three-game suspension ends.
