Scott Fujita Injury: Browns LB Hopes To Play In Week 1

Cleveland Browns LB Scott Fujita was one of four NFL players suspended by commissioner Roger Goodell for participating in the New Orleans Saints bounty program, but Fujita is hopeful that he won't have to miss a single game this season. Fujita was suspended for three games by Goodell, but he is optimistic that a district judge in New Orleans will issue a temporary restraining order blocking the suspensions due to the way in which Goodell sanctioned the players.

Another hurdle for Fujita is that he's spent much of the past few weeks on the bench. Fujita injured his knee in the team's Aug. 10 preseason game vs. the Detroit Lions and didn't return to practice until this past Tuesday. He expects to by fully healthy come the regular season, though.

Fujita is scheduled to take part in a suspension appeal in New York on Thursday.
