Sheldon Brown Injury: Browns CB Suffers Shoulder Stinger In Loss To Eagles

The Cleveland Browns made it out of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles injury free, but with one exception: cornerback Sheldon Brown left the game with a shoulder stinger. Head coach Pat Shurmur noted the injury in his post-game remarks.

Brown was part of a Cleveland defense on Sunday that intercepted Michael Vick four times. The Browns have not elaborated on how much time Brown might miss, but stingers usually aren't too serious. Here is Chris Pokorny of Dawgs By Nature on Brown's injury:

If it forced him to miss any games, I still have confidence in the team's depth at cornerback, since they can activate Trevin Wade. Now, if Joe Haden gets suspended and Brown is out, that's another story.

Brown had 48 tackles and 2 interceptions in 2011.
