With a 24-17 deficit, the Cleveland Browns are hanging with the Cincinnati Bengals heading into the fourth quarter after another stellar touchdown by rookie running back Trent Richardson. The No. 3 overall pick in the draft took a Brandon Weeden pass 23 yards for his second score of the day with less than 30 seconds to go in the third quarter.
Three minutes into the period and with the Bengals leading 17-10, quarterback Andy Dalton found Brandon Tate for a 44-yard touchdown pass.
The defenses held strong as both sides, and D'Qwell Jackson picked off Dalton's pass to give the Browns solid field position at their own 47-yard line to set up Richardson's score. The Browns running back has eclipsed the 100-yard mark on 17 carries after three quarters. Meanwhile, Weeden has showed well in his second career game by going 15-for-24 for 183 yards and a touchdown pass.
