Trent Richardson Excited To Meet Jim Brown At Bills Game

The Trent Richardson era in Cleveland got off to a bit of a rocky start earlier this May when Cleveland Browns legend Jim Brown called Richardson "ordinary" and said that he didn't "see anything anything outstanding" about the 2012 first round pick. Brown will be back in Cleveland this weekend for the franchise's Alumni Weekend, and the two will meet as they look to put those comments behind them.

Richardson was diplomatic with reporters on Wednesday, saying that meeting Brown will be an honor. Richardson also said that he used Brown's words as motivation while rehabbing in the offseason.

"I was hurt and I had to fight back and I thought about that every day," Richardson said. "I fought back to get to this point where I'm at right now."

After a pedestrian outing in his first game as a pro, Richardson rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown last week against the Cincinnati Bengals.
