Daniel Gibson scored 15 points to lead all scorers, as the Cleveland Cavaliers notched an 85-79 preseason win over the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Arena.
Manny Harris scored 14 points for the Cavs, who improved to 3-1 in preseason play. Ramon Sessions added 12 points, while J.J. Hickson had 11 with nine rebounds in the victory.
Dirk Nowitzki tallied 13 points for the Mavs, who fell to 1-3 in the exhibition schedule. Jason Terry was the next highest scorer with nine.
Dallas head coach Rick Carlisle was back on the sidelines Monday after collapsing and being transported to a hospital on Friday. He missed Saturday’s outdoor game against Phoenix.
