Sessions, Gibson Impressive In Wine and Gold scrimmage

The Cavaliers were shown off to the public last night as the team took part in it’s annual Wine and Gold scrimmage at the University of Akron. Nearly 4000 fans took in the event proving that NBA Basketball is alive and well, at least for now, in NE Ohio.

Ramon Sessions had 13 points and 4 assists for the victorious Wine team, while Daniel Gibson led the Gold squad with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists.

While play was erratic at times and coach Byron Scott knows he needs to clean some things up with just days to go before the pre-season schedule begins against Charlotte:

“We’ve got a game in a few days and we’ve got a few guys who are making the same mistakes they made on day one,” Scott said. “So we’ve got to clean that up some more.”
