Leon Powe Comes Up Big In Second Quarter, Cavs Rally To Tie It At The Intermission

No Mo Williams. No Anderson Varejao. So far, no panic.

After falling behind the Pacers again in the second quarter, the Cavs — in a back-and-forth affair — tied the game with less than two seconds to go in the stanza at 54, which is where it stands at the half.

Leon Powe has nine for the Cavs off the bench to compliment J.J. Hickson’s and Antawn Jamison’s 10 each. Speaking of the bench, the reserves have half of the Cavaliers points in the game. Another of those bench players, Daniel Gibson, has eight for Cleveland.

Danny Granger, after a 12-point first quarter, added ten more in the second to lead all scorers with 22.

The Cavs are shooting 47% from the field, and are nine-of-ten at the line.
