This is classic. Matthew Bellamy, the 'fan' that was boo'd out of Progressive Field for wearing a LeBron James Miami Heat jersey during the summer had thought he was getting an 'all-expenses paid' trip to Miami for a 'night in his honor'. That was all news to the Miami Heat who have decided not to engage in such immature antics.
↵↵↵"An invitation was prematurely extended to [Bellamy] prior to the approval process being completed," according to a Heat team statement released Thursday night. "Once management became aware of this, it was decided that this is not something we wanted to do."

According to Clevescene.com, Bellamy had posted the big news on his Facebook page, saying he was going to attend this Saturday's game against the New Jersey Nets. According to the Heat, however, there was never any plan to formally recognize Bellamy or allow him access to team members.
