Comeback Kids: Cavaliers Trail In 4th, Come Back To Win 3rd Straight

It’s becoming a habit for the Cavaliers, and while Byron Scott would likely prefer the Cavaliers play solid for 48 minutes, winning is never a bad thing.

J.J. Hickson scored 18 points to lead five Cavaliers in double-figures as the Cavaliers once again overcame a lackluster 3rd quarter to beat the New Jersey Nets 93-91 in New Jersey.

For the Cavaliers it was their 3rd straight win – all coming on the road – and gives the Cavs their 4th win of the season. The two teams will fly to Cleveland tonight and play a rematch at Quicken Loans Arena on Wednesday night.

Antawn Jamison scored 15 points off the bench in his first game in over a week. Jamison hit 3-of-4 from deep and brought down 8 rebounds in his best game as a Cavalier in a long time. Along with 15 points from Ramon Sessions and 14 from Daniel Gibson, the Cavaliers bench outscored the Nets bench 52-17.

The Cavaliers needed every bit of it with the starting group – minus Hickson – having an off night. Mo Williams scored just 2 points on 1-12 shooting.

The Cavaliers have now won nine straight games over the Nets – 5 straight in new Jersey.
