NBA Trade Rumors: Cavaliers Have Plenty Of Free Agent Options

For more on the Cavs, visit SB Nation's Fear the Sword.

Free Agency in the NBA begins on December 9th, but the Cleveland Cavaliers are already making plans to supplement their roster. According to SB Nation NBA Writer Tom Ziller, the Cavs have only one free agent already on the list of players they may or may not re-sign.

That means they may be looking at any number of other free agents on the list of available players.

One of the hottest players out there that is unsigned in Denver Nuggets center Nene Hilario. Center Greg Oden is also a restricted free agent, but the former number 1 overall pick has been beset by injuries throughout his career. Oden is a restricted free agent, so if the Cavs were to sign him Portland has the option to match the offer.

Not every free agent on the list will return to the NBA, as some have lucrative contract to play in Europe and could elect to stay overseas instead.
