Cavs Feeling The Monday Blues As Magic Pours It On 56-38

The offense of the Orlando Magic has been cold lately, but they’ve caught the spark they needed tonight against the Cavaliers, and caught a flame. The Cavaliers are getting pulverized in post up play, as their bigs, Dwight Howard, Brandon Bass, and Ryan Anderson, have combined for 42 of the Magic’s 56 points. The Magics unbeatable combination of size, strength, and momentum is carrying them light years past the Cavaliers. Anderson, however, is the only Orlando reserve to score.

J.J. Hickson, handling most of those Orlando bigs on his own, leads the Cavaliers in scoring with 7. Manny Harris has put in 6 off the bench. For most others, it has been a slow day at the office. Starters Anthony Parker, Alonzo Gee, and Samardo Samuels, have each been limited to 4 points or less.

Orlando has out rebounded the Cavaliers 27-15 and shot 56% from outside. The Cavaliers, for the season, have allowed the third highest opponent shooting percentage of 47.8%. Only Detroit and Toronto have allowed better opposing efficiency.
