Samardo Samuels drew an offensive foul on perhaps the best offensive player in league in Carmelo Anthony with a 2 point lead with 1.8 seconds left to hand the Knicks another defeat at the hands of the Cavaliers 119-115 at Madison Square Garden.
Cleveland trailed for the majority of the game, trailing by scores of 22-10 and 100-88, but fought back and kept the Knicks winless against them for the season. J.J. Hickson lead the way with 23 points, and Baron Davis put in 18, with 12 in the fourth quarter. Rookie Luke Harangody broke his personal rookie record with 18 points off the bench.
The Cavs had seven players with double digits in points. The Knicks dynamic duo of Anthony and Stoudemire combined for 70 points.
