Hornets' Chris Paul Injured In Win Over Cavaliers

***** From Jason Kirk of "At The Hive" *****

Chris Paul was taken to a Cleveland hospital after being removed from the Quicken Loans Arena floor with an upper-body injury, according to ESPN’s NBA broadcast. New Orleans Hornets medical personnel confirmed he suffered a head injury, and not a neck injury.

Paul was "responsive and aware of his surroundings, according to the Times Picayune, and was talking in the hospital according to ESPN. He was able to move his limbs while being carted out of the gym on a stretcher, and still has movement at the hospital.

The Hornets star ran into Ramon Sessions’ shoulder in the third quarter of Sunday night’s game.

People who like to speculate are speculating that it could be a concussion, considering how hard he hit his forehead before falling to the floor, that there didn’t appear to be any bone or nerve damage to the extremely untrained eye, and the level of precautions taken by Hornets staff.
