VIDEO: LeBron James Doesn't Want Ohio To Hate Him

LeBron James is not the most popular man in Ohio, despite growing up in Akron and playing the majority of his NBA career with the Cleveland Cavaliers. It probably has a little bit to do with last summer's Decision to take his talents to South Beach and play with the Miami Heat, too, one might venture to guess.

Anyway, James did what he could to repair that reputation over the weekend by throwing down highlight dunks and making a surprise appearance at the Chris Chambers City League Classic in Warrensville Heights, Ohio.

James did what he does best, the fans seemed to have been really impressed by it and everyone probably went home much happier than they would have if one of the best basketball players in the world was replaced by a local who isn't quite as athletically-impressive as the home state hero.

For those wondering, yes, that was old St. Vincent-St. Mary High School teammates Dru Joyce III and Romeo Travis also featured in the video.
