NBA Committees Meeting To Try To Hammer Out Agreement

Full bargaining committees of NBA players and owners are meeting on Tuesday as attempts to end the lockout enter an important phase.

The story via Yahoo! Sports says that another meeting could take place Wednesday in New York, and membership will be notified as to any progress on Thursday.

↵

Training camps are due to open in less than three weeks, and both sides have said that there is still time to reach an agreement without any cancellations occurring.

Let us hope that resolution comes soon, and we do not have a repeat of the 1998 lockout that ended up reducing the season to 50 games once it was settled.
