Cavaliers Vs. Bulls: Derrick Rose Not Guaranteed To Play Against Cleveland

The Cavaliers can get to .500 today as they play a Chicago Bulls team that will likely be missing Derrick Rose.

The Cleveland Cavaliers dropped the second game of a back to back earlier in the week to the Golden State Warriors but have a surprisingly good chance to pick themselves back up at home tonight as they face the division leading Chicago Bulls.

The biggest mystery of this game will be the lineup card for Chicago, as there is a very good chance that MVP Derrick Rose will miss another game with his recurring turf toe injury after being overplayed in recent games, including 40 minutes a piece in a back to back against Boston and Toronto.

Without Rose the Bulls were able to demolish the Suns on Tuesday, but the young Cavs will likely present a much tougher challenge with Kyrie Irving leading the way. The Bulls have plenty of other talent including Carlos Boozer, but a lack of Rose will make the challenge that much easier for the Cavs.

This is the first game of a back to back for the Cavs with another game against the Hawks on the horizon but a win over the Bulls would assuredly provide some much needed momentum and push them to a surprising .500 record at 7-7.
