Not much was expected from the Cleveland Cavaliers this season, but with a home win over the Charlotte bobcats on Tuesday night they can move over .500. Sure, it is very early int he season, but Point guard Kyrie Irving has been as good as originally advertised. So far he has helped Cleveland reach the upper third of the NBA in overall scoring at 97.5 points per game.
Irving is averaging 13.3 points and 5.5 assists per game while Antawn Jamison has come around with a 16.3 points per game average. Cleveland has five players averaging in double figures with Ramon Sessions, Alonzo Gee, and Anderson Verajao all over ten points per game.
The Bobcats come in at 1-3 with their only victory coming over Milwaukee by a point in the season opener.
