The Cleveland Cavaliers have a chance to reach the .500 mark tonight at home against the Charlotte Bobcats, and things are looking up for them through the first 24 minutes, leading the Bobcats by six.
The Cavaliers are being led by veteran Antawn Jamison (14 points on 5-of-9 shooting and five rebounds) and rookie Kyrie Irving (13 points on 5-of-7 shooting and three assists). The Cavs recovered after giving up 34 points in the first quarter to outscore the Bobcats 30-17 in the second, thanks in large part to Irving, their No. 1 overall pick from this past summer's draft.
Both teams shot over 50-percent in the high-scoring first half and moved the ball around well (10 assists for both teams). Charlotte's downfall was their 10 turnovers, which led to Cleveland taking four and making three extra shots in the half.
