Cavs add Justin Holiday to training camp roster

The Cleveland Cavaliers added guard/forward Justin Holiday to their training camp roster after playing with the team in all five 2012 NBA Summer League games, according to Bob Finnan of The NewsHerald.

Holiday averaged 6.4 points and 2.0 rebounds 16.8 minutes per game for the Cavaliers. His addition to the team brings the training camp roster to an even 20 players.

Justin Holiday, brother of Philadelphia 76ers point guard Jrue Holiday, now gets a chance to make the Cleveland regualr season roster. Holiday attended the University of Washington where he averaged 10.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.2 steals per game his senior season. Holiday was a member of the 2010 Pac-10 All Defensive Team.

The Cleveland Cavaliers head into the 2012-2013 season looking to improve upon 21-45 record from last season. Second-year point guard Kyrie Irving and 2012 NBA Draft first round pick Dion Waiters lead the Cavaliers against the challenging Eastern Conference.
