Two top-five picks in the 2012 NBA Draft -- Bradley Beal and Dion Waiters -- will face off when Washington visits Cleveland for a pre-season game at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
Waiters is coming off his best pro game on Friday when he had a game-high 18 points and three assists on 7-of-12 shooting from the field including 4-of-4 from three-point territory, to lead the Cavaliers to a 86-83 victory over the Bulls.
The Wizards have started the pre-season 0-2 without John Wall and are coming off a 108-101 loss to the New York Knicks in which they were torched by Steve Novak from behind the arc as he went 7-of-7 from three-point territory and had a game-high 21 points. Beal had 15 points, five rebounds and five assists on 4-of-9 shooting from the field in 26 minutes against the Knicks.
Beal was selected third overall by the Wizards while Waiters was selected fourth by the Cavaliers in last summer's draft. This will be the first time the two young guards face each other at the professional level.
