The Cleveland Cavaliers will try to improve to 2-0 on the road this preseason when they take a trip to Philadelphia to face the 76ers on Wednesday night.
Cleveland is coming off a 114-111 overtime victory over the Orlando Magic in which Kyrie Irving had a team-high 22 points on 5-of-8 shooting, adding 11-of-11 from the free throw line. Dion Waiters, the fourth overall pick in the 2012 draft, started alongside Irving in the back court and had eight points in 20 minutes. Fellow rookie Tyler Zeller scored 10 points off the bench.
Philadelphia is 2-1 in the preseason and is coming off a 107-75 win over the Boston Celtics on Monday. The 76ers were led in scoring by Spencer Hawes, who finished the game with 17 points and eight rebounds. Philadelphia is still without offseason acquisition Andrew Bynum, who is receiving treatment on this knee during training camp.
The Cavaliers are 3-2 in the preseason heading into Wednesday night's showdown with the 76ers.
