The Cleveland Cavaliers finish their 2012 preseason at home, against the Indiana Pacers, at Quicken Loans Arena, on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. ET. The game will not be televised.
Conrad Kaczmarek of Cavs blog Fear The Sword notes that big men Michael Eric, Luke Harangody and Kevin Jones are fighting for the final frontcourt spot tonight. The Plain Dealer's afternoon links roundup has stories on the fight for the last backcourt spot, between Donald Sloan and Jeremy Pargo, and on coach Byron Scott finalizing his starting lineup. Alonzo Gee, C.J. Miles and rookie Dion Waiters are all in the running for starting at the 2 and 3. Anderson Varejao, Tristan Thompson and Kyrie Irving are considered surefire starters.
Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger will see game action for the first time this preseason, though he will be limited to 12 minutes of play. Pacers starting point guard George Hill will not play, as he continues to deal with a hip pointer.
