Wizards vs. Cavs: Game time, TV schedule, preview and more

Preview and TV schedule for the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Washington Wizards matchup on Oct. 30, 2012.

Eric P. Mull-US PRESSWIRE

On Tuesday night, the 2012-13 NBA season will get underway, and the first game should be a good one. It's not between two titans of the league, but rather, two franchises who are hoping to get things off on the right foot, as the Washington Wizards visit the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Last season, the Cavaliers finished 21-45, last in the Central Division and only one game better than the Wizards. Point guard Kyrie Irving will take the reins and try to guide this franchise back to a winning record. The Wizards are in a similar situation, though their own point guard star, John Wall, won't be in action as he is expected to miss the first month of the season with a knee injury.

This puts the focus on players like A.J. Price and Jannero Pargo, so Cleveland will need to focus on negating those two early and often, and they should be favored to come away with the win. Below, we've got all the info you need on the game.

When: 7 p.m. Tuesday

Where: Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland, Ohio

TV: Fox Sports Ohio
