After missing eight games with a sprained left ankle, Dion Walters of the Cleveland Cavaliers is set to return to the team on Tuesday, according to Jason Lloyd of Ohio.com on Twitter. Walters returned to practice for the first time on Monday, and looks ready to go on Tuesday.
It's unclear if Walters will start or play off the bench, and it's unlikely to be announced until pregame warmups on Tuesday. His return will mean the entire roster is available for the first time since Nov. 18. The entire roster has only been available for six games all season.
Walters initially expected to miss just a few days, but the bone bruise made things much worse and put his recovery time into weeks instead of days. It's unlikely he'll play significant minutes on Tuesday, even if he does technically join the starting lineup at the beginning of the game.
The Cavs will take on the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday.
