The Cleveland Cavaliers went just 1-3 last week, but it didn't push the Cavs down in the SB Nation NBA power rankings.
The Cavs are sitting as the No. 27 team in the rankings. It's the same spot as last week.
SB Nation's Seth Rosenthal didn't have much to say about the Cavaliers this week:
On the other hand, Anderson Varejao. That win over the Hawks was fun, too.
Varejao has been a force this season for the Cavaliers, who are just 4-13 this season. Varejao is averaging 15 points and 15 rebounds per game. He's shooting a team-best 53 percent from the field.
Second-year guard Kyrie Irving leads the team with 23 points per game, but he hasn't played since Nov. 18 because of a fractured finger.
The Cavs haven't started December off on the right foot. On Saturday, they lost to the Portland Trail Blazers, 118-117. They have a busy week ahead, with four games on the schedule.
On Monday night, the Cavs will travel to play the Detroit Pistons. They move on to host the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday, and then play back-to-back games against the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Pistons once again.
