The Cleveland Cavaliers (15-23) return home from a successful road trip to play the Houston Rockets (22-19) at Quicken Loans Arena on Sunday evening.
While away from home, the Cavaliers were able to put together two wins over Northwest Division teams to halt what was a six-game losing streak in impressive fashion. Cleveland won at Denver on Wednesday and then followed it up with a win in the hostile environment at Oklahoma City. Rookie point guard Kyrie Irving used his play-making ability in both wins to include others, logging 20 assists with only four turnovers in the two road games.
Houston put an end to their own losing streak on the road, snapping a streak of five consecutive losses with a win at New Jersey on Saturday. Point guard Kyle Lowry missed the game against the Nets with an abdominal disorder that had him in the hospital and not with the team when the flew to Cleveland last night.
