As the NBA trade deadline rapidly approached, the Cleveland Cavaliers finally pulled off a trade for Ramon Sessions. The deal sent Sessions to the Los Angeles Lakers for their 2012 first-round pick, as well as an exchange of role players with Christian Eyenga going to LA and Luke Walton heading to Cleveland.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo!, the Cavaliers will also be receiving another peripheral player, the sharpshooting Jason Kapono.

The Plain Dealer has also confirmed that Kapono is a part of the deal. You will recall that he was originally drafted by the Cavaliers in 2003, taken in the second-round of the same year LeBron James landed in Cleveland. He lasted only one season with the Cavs, but has stayed in the league, bouncing around to six different teams. With the Lakers this year, he is shooting less than 30 percent from the three-point range and is averaging 10 minutes per game in 27 games played. Kapono's $1.2 million deal is expiring this season.
