With the Cavs down one, Irving took the ball after the inbounds with about 12 seconds remaining in the game. Irving then took it coast-to-coast and finished with a cool and collected up-and-under reminiscent of a wily veteran guard, not a 19-year-old kid.

Irving's game-winning layup helped the Cavs snap a six-game losing streak. He scored 14 of his 18 points in the game in the second half -- 10 of those points coming in the final three minutes of the game.
