Cleveland Cavaliers Recall Luke Harangody From NBA Development League

Hours before the Cleveland Cavaliers are set to tip off against the Washington Wizards on Saturday, the team has announced they have recalled forward Luke Harangody from the NBA Development League.

Harangody was sent to the Canton Charge, Cleveland's D-League affiliate, on March 6 and has started 16 games for the Charge. Harangody averaged 19.4 points on 49-percent shooting including .413 from three-point range, and almost 13 rebounds in 36 minutes per game.

Harangody is in his second season in the NBA after being drafted by the Boston Celtics out of Notre Dame in 2010. In his 15 games with the Cavs this season, he's averaged just under eight minutes per game and averaged about two points and two rebounds.

Harangody is available for the Cavs' game tonight, and it looks like he'll get to play, according to The Plain Dealer. Antwan Jamison will sit out so Harangody should see the court.
