Cleveland Cavaliers rookie point guard Kyrie Irving will return to the Cavaliers starting lineup Wednesday night against the Philadelphia 76ers, according to Tom Withers of the Associated Press.

In Irving's absence, Cleveland has a record of 3-6, losing 116-77 to the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday. The Pistons led by 50 points through three quarters.
Irving was the first player onto the court for Cleveland during its pregame shootaround. He is averaging 18.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.7 rebounds per game during his rookie season. The Cavaliers are currently ranked 13th in the Eastern Conference and sport the third-worst record in the NBA.
