The Cleveland Cavaliers took a one-point lead into the fourth quarter, but the playoff bound Memphis Grizzlies pulled away late for a 109-101 win on Monday night.
The Cavaliers hit 11 three-pointers in the game, but the Grizzlies' 12 extra freebies from the charity stripe proved to be the biggest difference maker in the Cavs' eight-point loss.
Rookie of the Year candidate Kyrie Irving finished with just 25 points after taking 19 points into the second half. Veteran Antawn Jamison added 19 points and nine rebounds.
The Grizzlies had six players in double figures and former Cavalier Lester Hudson scored nine points in the Grizzlies' big second quarter.
The Cavaliers will play the penultimate game on their schedule on Wednesday against the Wizards before finishing the season on Thursday in Chicago.
