Cavaliers Vs. Raptors: Free Throws Keeping Things Close As Cleveland Trails, 42-39, At The Half

Despite poor shooting, the Cleveland Cavaliers are getting something of a break thanks to their efficiency from the free throw line. They trail the Toronto Raptors by a score of 42-39 at halftime in Toronto.

The Cavs are hitting just 37 percent of their shots from the field, versus 47 percent for the Raptors. Lester Hudson, who is four-for-eight from the field, leads the team in scoring with 11 points. Antwan Jamison has nine points, and Alonzo Gee has seven rebounds in the effort as Cleveland continues to play without Rookie of the Year candidate Kyrie Irving.

Cleveland has hit 11-of-13 free throw attempts to keep it close in the wake of their poor shooting.

Andrea Bargnani leads the Raptors with 14 points, hitting six-of-10 from the field. DeMar DeRozan has nine points.
