On Tuesday afternoon, the Cleveland Cavaliers announced the roster for the team's 2012 NBA Summer League team, which will play five games in Las Vegas, Nevada from July 13-22 at the COX Pavilion and Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
Some of the notable names included are Kyrie Irving and Tristan Thompson in addition to 2012 first-round draft selections Dion Waiters and Tyler Zeller. Matt Pressey, the son of assistant coach Paul Pressey has also been named as a member of the team.
Undrafted free agent Kevin Jones was not included on the 14-man roster because he is sitting out with an injury but is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
During their time in Vegas, the club will play games against the Charlotte Bobcats, Phoenix Suns, Minnesota Timberwolves and New York Knicks (all of which will be televised on NBA TV). In addition, the team will play a game against the NBA Developmental League's select team, which will not be televised.
