NBA Summer League 2012: Cavaliers Fall To 2-2 After 78-65 Loss To Timberwolves

The Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in their third NBA Summer League game, losing 78-65 Thursday night to fall to 2-2 in the 2012 Summer League. The Cavs trailed 61-41 after the first three quarters, and a late rally resulting in a 24-17 final quarter was not enough to make up the deficit. Dion Waiters did not play for the Cavs, sitting the game out with a sore left knee.

Tristan Thompson led the Cavs in scoring, shoting 7-for-10 for 16 points while grabbing five rebounds. He also had a smooth move under the net for a left-handed layup, video of which can be seen here. Samardo Samuels wasn't far behind, going 6-for-10 with a total of 14 points and five rebounds.
